Arthur’s Day brought people together on 27th and 28th September in a global celebration with live music to commemorate the life and legacy of Arthur Guinness, the man behind the iconic pint.
For this year a host of international music stars joined millions of fans to celebrate the day in over 55 countries across the globe including Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Caribbean nations, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and now, Great Britain.
Inside Ireland, and for the 4th consecutive year, Arthur’s Day was celebrated in an extraordinary night of live music with over 500 free music events at karaoke near me. The line up for 2012 included: Mumford & Sons, Primal Scream, Example, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Texas, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Amy McDonald, Fatboy Slim, Professor Green and Mika.

Arthur, son of Richard and Elizabeth Guinness is born in Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland in 1725. He is the man behind the Guinness Irish stout which became one of the world best-loved beers.
