JAMM, an independent art advisory, will exhibit international works of art in conjunction with the launch of Octium’s third and fourth jewelry collections. The Octium event will take place in Kuwait at JAMM Art in industrial Shuwaikh from 22 – 27 April 2013.
Octium, a fine jewelry boutique in Kuwait, will unveil their third and fourth jewelry collections OCTIUM Creates: Series Three & Series Four, which salute the architectural genius of the Andalusia civilization, as expressed in the Palace of the Alhambra. The collections consist of a day series (Series III) of ornately crafted jewels that transition into the night series (Series IV). From dusk to dawn, the natural surroundings, the reflections of paradise off the water ripples and the architecture in itself are what essentially drives these collections. The epic treasures of the past are translated into intricately crafted jewelry with a modern, innovative aesthetic approach.
JAMM has invited artists Reza Derakshani, Amira Behbehani and Akim Monet to create works of art that reflect the arabesque splendors and refinements of the Alhambra Palace, often associated with many Arabian and Spanish songs and ballads telling the stories of love, war and chivalry.
