This perfect mix has led to Galassia, the new special project from Salvatore Ferragamo Eyewear: a model of women’s sunglasses embellished with tiny studs suggesting a stellar constellation.
Mini-studs are the distinguishing feature of these exclusive sunglasses designed for sophisticated women attracted by the lure of originality. Galassia is made of acetate and comes in two colour versions: black with gold studs or in a combination of brown and gun metal.
Pure craftsmanship applied to design: each piece is covered with 253 studs in three different sizes each individually inserted by hand. On the inner right-hand side of the temple arm there is a metal plate laser-engraved with the Ferragamo logo. This extraordinary care for detail transforms brand personalization into a new expression of style.
The Galassia will retail for €495 and be available from May 2013, exclusively in Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques worldwide.
