Hala Debs launches her couture collection in a seductive mode-like milieu – a story of self-assurance, certainty with a glimpse of modesty.
A collection of 13 looks took inspiration from the architecture found in nature. The collection is comprised of illuminating feminine and body conscious evening gowns coupled with an array of sculptured fishtail skirts representing the fierce glacial forms. Draped chiffon gowns with large circular folds carrying inspiration from tree temples and willow domes. A-symmetrical necklines and strapless corseted bodices enchanted with liner cuts and lace flower appliqué are prominent facets in the collection.
The exuberance of the architectural cuts matched with a feminine twist through the utilization of hand painting techniques and the incorporation of bows – Hala Deb’s signature design element – create a fresh and contemporary feel to the collection.
Muslin, Organza, Gazar, Crepe, Silk, Lace and Tulle comprise Hala Deb’s choice of fabric. Vivacious Black, sturdy Burgundy, swinger Red are a dominate palette in the collection. The addition of toned-down hues such as Champagne, soft Beige and Greige add an enticing and glamorous deem to the collection.
