Paris, July 2, 2013 – Georges Chakra’s Fall/ Winter 2013-2014 collection envisions, with all its brilliance, a collection that exudes an essence of utter refinement, honoring a sense of gracious seduction.
The collection features the Georges Chakra woman as a goddess- regal in her personality, emitting an allure of pride. Throughout, Art Deco motifs, arabesques and a splendor of floral can be observed. This season’s key shapes are emphasized in the forms of figure-hugging silhouettes, ballerina tutus, pleated skirts and dresses with geometric embellishments all along the back- each encompassing the richest of fabrics such as guipure, organza and satin.
The color palette is illuminating. Gold is the predominant color entitling a large spectrum of its nuances- poetic shades of cooked bronze, vermeil, lame and old gold. Vivid and enriching shades of green, purple and burgundy are seen throughout the collection along with a series of monochrome dresses- a timelessly beautiful color combination.
A combination of dreamy white and crystal black – the wedding dress, with its black veil dotted with white flowers, completes the picture of a truly majestic and sumptuous collection.
