BEIRUT ART FAIR, the art fair dedicated to emerging modern and contemporary artists from the ME.NA.SA region (Middle East, North Africa, South & South East Asia), is currently setting the grounds for its new edition at the Beirut International Exhibition Leisure Center (BIEL) from the 19th till the 22nd of September 2013, under the headship of Laure d’Hauteville, Pascal Odille and Jean-Marc Decrop.
In July 2012, more than 11,000 visitors flocked to BIEL to discover the third edition of the fair. The number of sales that took place throughout the fair reflected the success of this event, which has quickly asserted its position in the cultural landscape of the Middle East.
In 2012, with 43 galleries from 15 countries, more than one hundred collectors as well as representatives of major international cultural institutions and a growing number of widely renowned partners, BEIRUT ART FAIR confirmed its status as an essential lever for artistic life in Lebanon.

The enthusiasm associated with the first three editions demonstrates a true artistic and economic development in the «ME.NA.SA.» region, which stretches from Morocco to Indonesia. BEIRUT ART FAIR is a journey filled with discoveries for emerging artists and re-discoveries for pioneers of modern art in the «ME.NA.SA.» region. The fair is pleased to provide a forum for creative expression in the heart of the “fertile crescent”.
From the 19th till the 22nd of September 2013, the organizers expect to welcome at BIEL fifty galleries of modern and contemporary art representing the creativity of the «ME.NA.SA.» region in all its diversity, through the practice of painting, drawing, sculpture, video, design or performance … Also included in the cultural program are special meetings between collectors, artists, professionals from the world of art and exhibiting galleries.
BEIRUT ART FAIR continues to strengthen the role of Beirut as the cultural and intellectual capital of the Arab world and the hub of contemporary art at the crossroads between East and West.
