Following on from the success of the first SPLINTER, the Michael Hoppen Gallery is delighted to announce the return of the fair for one day only on the 30th November 2013.
Once again SPLINTER will offer a wide range of 19th, 20th and 21st century photography from well known photographers including Joe Szabo, Araki (polaroids), Karl Blossfeldt, Colin Jones and Shoji Ueda to anonymous work.
With many pieces priced at a few hundred pounds and all under £1,000 it’s the perfect bazaar environment for new and experienced collectors to browse through hundreds of photographs and books to add to or start a collection, or simply find the perfect Christmas gift.
Also on show will be the latest collaboration between the Michael Hoppen Gallery and ‘Filed Under /’ of Germany, who have worked together to produce a number of silk scarves and pocket handkerchiefs.
All the pieces are handmade in Germany and are an edition of 150, designed by Annahita Kamali, using anonymous photographs from the Michael Hoppen Gallery collection. The pocket handkerchiefs (45 x 45cm) are priced £70 and the larger piece, Anonymous Venus (106 x 130cm) is £200.
