Andrea Boldi is the new president of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi Spa, the most important trade fair and conference complex in central Italy with a schedule of 20 events, 12 of which it organizes directly.
As a point of reference in Arezzo’s goldsmith district, which boasts 1,200 companies and 11,000 employees, Arezzo Fiere e Congressi holds the brands OROAREZZO International Gold, Silver and Jewelry Exhibition, Bi-Jewel Fashion jewelry and Bijoux Trade Show, Cash&Carry targeted exclusively at wholesalers and GOLD IN ITALY, the only national exhibition dedicated entirely to Made in Italy jewelry.
Andrea Boldi, 46, a businessman and owner of the company Nemesi, based in Arezzo, is the president of Goldsmiths in the Confartigianato Arezzo trade association.
The other members of the Board of Directors are Michele Colangelo, Vice President, Zelinda Ceccarelli and Mauro Pallini, Alessia Gualdani, Elio Vitali and Giulio Arrigucci.
“I view this new assignment with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility,” says Andrea Boldi, “in the awareness that Arezzo’s trade show must take on an increasingly incisive role in supporting the productive fabric of the region, nationally and internationally. In particular, I am talking about the jewelry district, which is recognized as a leader in the field of Italian production.
There is also strong potential in the conferencing sector thanks to the launch of operations in our new Conference Centre, a beautiful structure with cutting-edge technologies and services. We are sure that it will become a gathering place for major events and meetings, bringing benefits for related industries and enhancing the history, art, nature and traditions of our land.”
Boldi does not hide his ambition to make Arezzo Fiere e Congressi a major player on the Italian trade fair market, an essential showcase for the Made in Italy in terms of the match between supply and demand. “The firm support of the institutions and economic professions and the investments made in the exhibition facilities and new conference centre,” says Boldi, “ensure that Arezzo Fiere has all the credentials to be increasingly attractive in the eyes of exhibitors, buyers and Italian and foreign retailers”.
The company is now preparing for its next scheduled event, the 35th edition of OROAREZZO: from 5 to 8 April, around 500 exhibitors are expected to attend in representation of all the Italian gold and jewelry districts, together with buyers originating from over 80 countries.
