GENEVA: “ICE LEGENDS” ON HUBLOT TIME

Hublot is incredibly proud to be involved with the magnificent figure skating Gala produced and sponsored by champion skater Stéphane Lambiel to celebrate 150 years of friendship between Switzerland and Japan.

Hublot has also created the official watch for the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan: an Aero Bang All White with the inscription “Miracle Lone Pine Tree” on the case back, which was presented to Japan during an official dinner this September.

In Geneva on 18th December, Stéphane Lambiel’s Ice Gala will take place on Hublot time! The Swiss watch manufacturer is pleased to be working alongside one of Switzerland’s most popular champions, and to celebrate 150 years of friendship between Switzerland and Japan, joined by some of the world’s best skaters.

ScreenHunter_15 Dec. 08 17.55Twice world skating champion and close friend of Hublot for a number of years, Stéphane Lambiel’s personality and incredible list of achievements have helped to make him one of Switzerland’s most popular sporting champions.

For the Gala evening that he has produced and sponsored to mark the 150-year relationship between Switzerland and Japan, he has succeeded in bringing together an exceptional group of his ice skating friends, including some of the world’s best skaters.

A highlight will surely be one of Stéphane’s heroes, Alexeï Iagoudine, who took gold at the Salt Lake City Olympic Games in 2002 with a stunning performance that is still remembered today, returning to skate in Geneva for Stéphane twelve years later. The line-up also includes Carolina Kostner, Nathalie Péchalat, Fabian Bourzat, Miki Ando and even Sarah Meier… a group of friends brought together by talent and excellence, ready to perform a programme specially choreographed for the occasion by Stéphane Lambiel.

The event promises to be both magnificent and exceptional!
