VICENZAORO DUBAI, the Super Show dedicated to the world gold and jewellery trade organised by DV Global Link, a joint venture between Fiera di Vicenza and Dubai World Trade Centre, was at the centre stage of the road show organized in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The road show promoting the fair is involving elite buyers and media from different countries. The days from February 13 till 18 were the dates of intensive meetings with key players in the KSA jewellery community in the frame of a road show which started in Riyadh, then moved to Jeddah, and concluded in Dammam.

Three presentations were conducted by CEO Vincenzaoro Mr. Emanuele Guido and CEO Lazurde Jewellery Mr. Ayman Al Haffar in order to introduce the second edition of VOD which will take place 14-17 April 2016 at the World Trade Centre in Dubai and present the significant business opportunities it offers.

The Saudi opinion leaders and top jewelers welcomed strongly the approach of the fair’s organizers, and highly appreciated their visit on the ground which not only conveyed the significance of the event for their businesses, but also answered their queries related to issues the industry is facing nowadays.

In fact, the presentations, explained extensively VOD’s concept, its mission, and its format. The deep discussions, during and after the presentations, highlighted the show’s capacity as a strategic platform for international supply and demand. They underlined the characteristics which make of this event a jewel of a show, unique in its kind, especially that the region has not yet experienced a b2b show, offering under one roof, products from several manufacturing origins; Italy, India, Turkey, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Emirates, Thailand… to name a few.
However, in order to initiate the market to the new concept, the show has decided to open its last day to the private jewellery community, which will be excited to discovering the newest jewellery collections on offer, and acquiring the latest updates of the sector.
