A SPECTACULAR RETURN!
The world’s biggest jewellery fair is making its grand comeback to the vibrant city of Hong Kong this September. Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW), formerly known as the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, is set to dazzle visitors with an inspiring showcase of exquisite jewellery and gemstones.
JGW promises to be an unforgettable experience, with over 3,000 suppliers from more than 50 countries and regions gathering at two venues to display their finest creations. As the countdown to JGW continues, David Bondi, Senior Vice President of Informa Markets in Asia, expressed the significance of this event as a testament to the industry’s resilience during challenging times. “JGW is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate that resilience, and to act with confidence and positivity as we move towards the future,” he said.
The extravaganza at JGW is set to surpass all expectations, featuring more than 40 pavilions, each showcasing a diverse selection of gems and jewellery. At AWE, visitors can explore the renowned Diamond Pavilion, boasting an impressive spectrum of loose and set diamonds in precious metals and fancy color diamonds. The Fine Gem Pavilion (FGP) is a must-visit zone, showcasing top dealers offering gemstones coveted by legacy brands, designers, and collectors. The Gemstone Pavilion is equally captivating, known for housing one of the highest concentrations of primary gemstone suppliers in a single location.
The Pearl Pavilion, a popular destination for pearl enthusiasts, gathers internationally renowned suppliers of Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian, and freshwater pearls. Pearl auctions during the fair will add to the excitement and allure of the event.
Over at the HKCEC, visitors will be mesmerized by the Fine Design Pavilion (FDP), showcasing red-carpet-worthy jewellery adorned with diamonds, colored gemstones, pearls, and other high-value materials. The CORE Pavilion shines a spotlight on the best of Hong Kong’s jewellery and gemstone industry, while the International Premier Pavilion (IPP) spotlights the latest trends and inspirations in luxury jewellery.
As an added delight, SEASONS | Autumn will be co-located with JGW at the HKCEC, offering a magnificent display of fashion jewellery and accessories. This event provides a powerful platform for buyers seeking must-have collections for the Spring/Summer of 2024 and beyond.
This year’s JGW is a celebration of extraordinary individuals who have left an indelible mark on the industry. The Informa’s Jewellery World Awards (JWA) will honor 40 trailblazers whose talent, leadership, dedication, and pursuit of excellence have positively impacted the global jewellery sector.
