Matteo Farsura Takes the Helm

A New Era for Italian Exhibition Group’s Jewellery & Fashion Division

In a seamless transition of leadership, Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) announces Matteo Farsura‘s appointment as the Global Exhibition Manager of the Jewellery & Fashion Division. Following the strategic restructuring within IEG, Marco Carniello, former Global Exhibition Director of the division, assumes the role of Chief Business Officer, steering the conglomerate’s new Business Division encompassing various industries.

With a wealth of experience and a proven track record, Matteo Farsura steps into his new role with aplomb. Having joined IEG in 2017, Farsura’s journey within the organization has been marked by notable achievements. Initially contributing to the technology segment, he subsequently played pivotal roles in enhancing the Arezzo events before making significant contributions to the success of Vicenzaoro.

Farsura’s academic background, coupled with his extensive managerial expertise, positions him as an ideal leader for the Jewellery & Fashion Division. A graduate in Business Administration from the prestigious Cà Foscari University in Venice, Farsura further honed his skills through an MBA from the CUOA Foundation in collaboration with the University of Michigan Dearborn, where he participated in an International Program.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Farsura’s professional journey includes stints with leading luxury brands, where he gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of the fashion jewellery industry. Drawing inspiration from his passion for rugby, both as a player and a coach, Farsura embodies the values of teamwork, resilience, and strategic thinking.

In his new capacity, Farsura will oversee a portfolio of renowned events on IEG’s Jewellery Agenda, including Vicenzaoro, Oroarezzo, T.Gold, The Italian Jewelry Summit, Valenza Gem Forum, VO’Clock Privé, and VO Vintage in Italy. Additionally, he will spearhead international ventures such as JGTD in Dubai and SIJE in Singapore, underscoring IEG’s global footprint in the jewellery and fashion sectors.

As Farsura assumes leadership, the industry anticipates a new era characterized by innovation, collaboration, and continued excellence under the stewardship of Italian Exhibition Group’s Jewellery & Fashion Division.
