As Carl Suchy & Söhne commemorates its 200th anniversary, the Austrian watch brand unveils the Belvedere Midnight & Titan, expanding its Belvedere collection with two additional variants marrying casual sophistication with an imperial twist.
Named after the iconic Belvedere Palace, synonymous with Vienna’s relaxed charm and grandeur, the Belvedere watch exudes a sporty yet refined allure suitable for both adventurous escapades along the Danube and soirées at the Viennese Hofburg.
The Belvedere features a stainless-steel case adorned with a captivating interplay of polished and satin-finished surfaces, whereas the Belvedere Titan features a titanium Case, ensuring a scratch-resistant corrosion-resistant light weight ideal elegance with a matt sheen. Powered by the CSS201 caliber, built upon a Dubois Dépraz mechanism, the watch boasts a remarkable 42-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable performance in any setting. Its integrated high-quality rubber strap, with a luxuriously textured inner surface, promises comfort even during active pursuits, while a screw-down crown offers water resistance up to one hundred meters, catering to the needs of avid swimmers.
At the heart of the Belvedere lies its pièce de résistance: the “Jumping Date” display. This unique feature presents the date in a dynamic manner, changing position daily and infusing the watch with a perpetual sense of novelty. Further enhancing its functionality, skeletonized hands and indexes coated with SuperLumiNova and a golden second hand, illuminating the dial and ensuring legibility even in low-light conditions.
Limited to an initial series of 100 watches, the Belvedere is available in three distinctive color variants, white, blue, and black. The watch’s imperial heritage is unmistakably showcased through its exhibition case back, adorned with a micro-engraved facade of the Belvedere Palace, symbolizing a fusion of tradition and innovation.
