Knokke Art Fair has been famous for beautifully melding a rich tradition of nearly 50 years with the dynamic and evolving world of contemporary art, promising an unforgettable experience for art enthusiasts and collectors alike.
This year, from 10 to 18 August, visitors will be treated to an extraordinary showcase of artistic talent from around the globe at the Grand Casino Knokke.
The fourth edition of the Knokke Art Fair is featuring around forty top-tier galleries, including notable presences from Germany and Italy. The fair excels in offering a diverse and high-quality selection of artworks, both modern and contemporary art are represented at a high level, ranging from paintings and graphics to photography and sculpture.
At the entrance, visitors are greeted by the Devea gallery from Antwerp, which highlights the works of remarkable female artists such as Charlotte Molenkamp and Margot Homan. Their pieces, known for their discretion and quality, are complemented by the sensitive nude drawings of Cathalijn Wouters. From Italy, Il Chiostro Arte Contemporanea impresses with its diverse offerings, while Galleria Immaginaria from Florence showcases artists like Tommaso Cascella, whose work is characterized by subtle abstraction and a vibrant color palette. Worthy to mention the poetic textures in the works of Fernando Cucci and the unique sculptures by Lluis Cera.
The Dutch Galerie Van Nuland returns with captivating paintings by Dominique Ampe, whose interiors mesmerize with delicate color use and poignant themes. Eddy Heleven from Maastricht is also present, offering a rich array of original jewelry. At Mookji Art, visitors can marvel at the unique figures stylized by Rose Wylie, and the southern French Sanary Art Galerie presents a diverse collection featuring artists like Robert Combas and George Braque.
Art 020 from Amsterdam brings original sculptures by Mo Cornelisse and the sophisticated linear works of Peter Peereboom. The fair also features LE Gallery from Keerbergen, showcasing an impressive collection of limited editions by legendary artists such as Man Ray, Andy Warhol, and Joan Miró.
In addition to the gallery offerings, the third edition of Highlights.be is not to be missed. This segment features significant works from the collections of distinguished collectors, adding another layer of allure to the fair.
