The Maison Perrelet with its latest creation, the “Turbine Hypnotic”, has once again blended technology, innovation, and design in the making of this exceptional timepiece.
At the heart of the “Turbine Hypnotic” lies the Perrelet exclusive Turbine Technology, this innovative mechanism is inspired by aeronautical propulsion and was first patented in 2009. The watch features 12 blades made of black anodized aluminum, renowned for its lightness and durability. The stainless-steel case, measuring 44 mm in diameter and coated with black PVD, boasts a design evolution echoing the second-generation Turbine models. The case features a smooth bezel, fluted middle, and an easy-grip crown bearing the Perrelet logo. Hour markers filled with white Super-LumiNova ensure visibility in all lighting conditions, without detracting from the kaleidoscopic effect. The red seconds hand adds a vibrant touch to the dial, while the anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the intricate details.
The “Turbine Hypnotic” is powered by the in-house manufacture calibre P-331-MH, this self-winding mechanical movement offers a 42-hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Certified by both COSC and Chronofiable®, the movement exemplifies precision and reliability. The internal components feature luxurious finishes, including a colimaçon-decorated main plate and an openworked, rhodium-plated oscillating weight adorned with the Perrelet logo.
The watch is complemented by a black alligator-pattern calf leather strap with a rubber lining, secured by a black PVD steel pin buckle. The overall aesthetic is one of sophisticated elegance, making the “Turbine Hypnotic” a standout piece.
