Maison Messika has once again captivated the world of high jewelry with the unveiling of the Second Opus of its Midnight Sun collection.
Inspired by the ephemeral moments between night and dawn, Artistic Director Valérie Messika crafts a narrative of contrasts and light in this exquisite collection.
The Midnight Sun collection elegantly captures the transition from the final glow of a festive night to the first light of dawn. The vision of Valérie Messika is brought to life through pieces that juxtapose the deep allure of night with the purity of daybreak. The collection features sparkling diamond bubbles set against the backdrop of a snow-like setting; this play of light and shadow is artfully embodied by renowned model Natalia Vodianova and actor Lucien Laviscount, who bring the vibrant energy of the collection to life.
Central to this collection is the “White Midnight Sun,” a piece that embodies the brilliance and intricate design synonymous with Maison Messika. The standout necklace boasts over 2,400 set stones, crowned by a magnificent 3.55-carat pear-shaped diamond in a yellow gold bezel. This subtle hint of solar warmth contrasts beautifully with the surrounding white diamonds, creating a masterful play of light.
