Launched in 2022, the Artline range is rooted in the urban aesthetic of the BR 05 collection, drawing significant influence from the Art Deco movement and the American Streamline style of the 1930s.
Bruno Belamich, the Creative Director and co-founder of Bell & Ross, elucidates the vision behind the Artline series, highlighting its incorporation of an artistic dimension into its design. Inspired by the pioneers of the Streamline movement, such as Raymond Loewy, the BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold exemplifies a harmonious blend of form, materials, and technical know-how. This timepiece embodies the ascent of functionalist aesthetics, marrying industrial design with aerodynamic elements to create a watch that is both refined and powerful. 
The striking combination of satin-finished and polished steel with 18-carat rose gold, brings a precious elegance to the BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold stands out, reflecting a boldness reminiscent of the 1970s and 80s. The gold elements, notably the fluted bezel and central links of the integrated bracelet, are particularly eye-catching. This distinctive design, unusual in technical pieces, evokes modern architecture and the aluminium fuselages of 1940s cruise planes, reminding us of the aviation heritage of Bell & Ross.
Beneath its sophisticated exterior, the BR 05 Artline Steel & Gold houses the precise and high-performing Swiss self-winding movement, the BR-CAL.321-1 calibre, offering a 54-hour power reserve. The brown sunray dial, with its applique indices and skeletonised hour and minute hands filled with white Super-LumiNova®, adds a modern elegance to the watch. A sapphire case back reveals the intricate finishes and the full 360° oscillating weight, while the 40mm case, water-resistant to 100 metres, ensures durability and reliability.
