The fourth edition of Jewellery, Gem & Technology Dubai (JGTD) drew to a successful close yesterday at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), cementing its status as the largest and most influential B2B jewellery sourcing event in the Middle East. Organised by Informa Markets Jewellery and Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the three-day fair held from 11 to 13 November 2025, showcased significant growth and a strategic response to evolving global market dynamics.
The 2025 edition saw a notable 10% increase in net exhibition space, hosting approximately 400 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions. This expansion highlights the escalating importance of JGTD on the global stage. The international footprint was broadened with first-time participation from Jordan, Kazakhstan, Oman, and Taiwan, while nine dedicated pavilions represented major industry hubs, including China, India, Italy, Thailand, Türkiye, and the US.
A key highlight of this year’s show was the introduction of the High-end Jewellery & Gems Zone, featuring premium exhibitors such as Arjiv Exports, AVYK Diamonds, and Noor Gems Japan. This new zone catered to the growing demand for luxury and unique pieces, reflecting a strict dedication and commitment to product diversity.
The strategic importance of JGTD was emphasised during the opening ceremony by key industry figures, including Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets; Maurizio Ermeti, President of Italian Exhibition Group; and Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC. The consensus was clear, in a year marked by historic gold prices and geopolitical tensions, buyers are seeking strategic, efficient sourcing and a broader product range, which JGTD is uniquely positioned to provide.
“The market dynamics this year are unmistakably different”, stated Celine Lau. “Buyers are adopting a more strategic approach… JGTD’s thoughtfully assembled exhibition delivers exactly that: A diverse mix of exhibitors across core product categories and innovative technology solutions.”
In addition to the exhibition floor, the Golden Stage knowledge programme offered critical insights for industry professionals. Sessions like “Storytelling in Jewellery and Gemstones” and “Beyond Craftsmanship: The Role of Innovation and Consumer Insights” brought together leaders from Adi AlFardan Jewellery, Robert Wan, the World Gold Council, and others. The programme also featured the Middle East Jewellery Designers Forum and forward-looking seminars by Trendvision, exploring the convergence of cultural transformation and jewellery.
The event was further strengthened by the continued partnerships with DMCC, returning as the Official Partner, and the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) as Industry Partner for the fourth consecutive year.
“JGTD is about connection and collaboration across the entire value chain,” said Maurizio Ermeti of IEG. “It remains the meeting point for the global jewellery trade, where relationships are forged, expertise is shared and new opportunities emerge.”
As the doors close on its most successful edition to date, JGTD has once again proven to be an indispensable platform for forging relationships, sharing expertise, and driving the future of the jewellery industry. The global trade now looks ahead to the next edition, anticipating further growth and innovation from this cornerstone event. Mark your calendars, and see you at JGTD 2026!
