The LA-based artists and designers Nikolai and Simon Haas have created a 12 piece collection for Versace Home, including new iconic pieces such as the Donatella Chair.

Creative director Donatella Versace gave the Haas Brothers freedom to take the classic motifs of the house and create something pioneering and new. The result is a range of pieces grounded in tradition while looking boldly to the future.

DV-ChairThe Donatella Chair encapsulates the mood of the collection, and the glamorous rock’n’roll spirit of Donatella Versace herself. Made from honeycomb brass with black leather upholstery, the Donatella Chair pays homage to the craftsmanship at the heart of Versace, with its form that was hand-crafted by the Haas Brothers.

Other pieces in the collection include The Stud Club, a armchair inspired by both Donatella’s personal style, and to the “Bondage” collection of 1992 designed by her brother, Gianni Versace, and The Bondage Bench, a provocative piece that plays with the sexuality of fashion and design.

“I am thrilled by this special design project by The Haas Brothers for Versace Home. They have captured the spirit of Versace, and taken us somewhere new. To me, it is like remix of Versace, one that has resulted in new iconic pieces for the home,” says Donatella Versace.
