The resounding echoes of three days and nights filled with business relationships, artistic presentations and unforgettable experiences linger in the air!
AMBERIF Spring 2024 edition, brought together 240 exhibitors from 13 countries, captivating the attention of 2500 visitors from 51 nations. Among the distinguished attendees were representatives from Argentina, Bahrain, Canada, China, Finland, Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates, among others.
While the heart of the Fair remained rooted in the allure of amber, an eclectic array of jewelry crafted from gold, silver, diamonds, pearls, and gemstones were on display, as well as, specialized machinery, equipment, and furniture, underscoring the event’s multifaceted appeal. Worthy to mention the Designers’ Zone, where emerging talents had the opportunity to showcase their creations in the Start-Up zone.
A special addition to this year’s edition was the introduction of the Art Zone, a haven for exhibitions spotlighting the artistic finesse of renowned designers and winners of international competitions. The participants had the opportunity to delve into training sessions with topics ranging from digital brand promotion to patent protection and product photography.
The Fair made a triumphant return of the jewelry and fashion show held in a refreshed form under the name AMBERIF Vibes. The show featured dynamic duos comprising jewelry designers and fashion icons, combining amber jewelry and haute couture.
The crowning moments of the evening unfolded with the award ceremonies, recognizing excellence in amber craftsmanship. The Amberif Design Award, drawing participation from 229 artists representing 32 nations, celebrated 26 outstanding works. Notable accolades included the Grand Prix bestowed upon Tadeusz Jaskowiak for the pendant “Inclusion” and the silver award granted to Miriam Arentz for the brooch “Radiance.”
The second competition, the results of which were announced during the evening meeting of exhibitors, was AMBERIF Selection. The main prize – the Statue of the Ministry of Development and Technology – went to Maciej Rozenberg for the ring “ES THEUS”, and the award of the Gdańsk International Fair Co. went to S&A for the kinetic pendant “12 zero”. The judging panel also decided to honour Gin Atelier Dorota Cenecka for a set of rings and Chilli Ireneusz Glaza for a rign “Orion’s ring”.
Looking ahead, AMBERIF extends a warm invitation to the public for the forthcoming AMBERIF Autumn event scheduled from 29 to 31 August 2024, at AMBEREXPO (Gdańsk, Poland), promising an immersive experience beyond the confines of the jewelry industry.
