CAVALLINO CLASSIC MODENA 2024

Nestled in the city where the iconic brand was born, the Cavallino Classic Modena 2024 held from 17 to 19 May, combined exclusivity, heritage, and culinary excellence, drawing collectors and enthusiasts from around the globe, to honor the legacy of Enzo Ferrari.

Known for its unique “boutique” formula, this year’s edition featured a carefully curated selection of 30 extraordinary Ferraris. The exclusive nature of the event, with limited access and high-profile guests, contributed to its allure. The historic park of Casa Maria Luigia served as the perfect backdrop, where participants enjoyed the exceptional hospitality of Massimo and Lara Bottura. Renowned for their culinary prowess, the Botturas ensured that the experience for the guests was as exquisite as the cars on display.

The presence of Ing. Piero Ferrari, son of Enzo Ferrari, along with his family, added a touch of legacy to the event. Their participation was highly valued by both collectors and organizers. Among the distinguished guests were notable personalities such as Sebastian Vettel, Jean Arnault, Zita D’Hauteville, and others, who contributed to the event’s glamour and prestige.

Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Cavallino, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the role of the event in preserving and promoting the rich history of Ferrari. Orlandini highlighted the Cavallino commitment to maintaining high standards in car evaluation and creating a unique, enjoyable, and international experience. He stressed the importance of merging automotive excellence with outstanding hospitality and culinary art, a combination that defines the Cavallino Classic Modena.

The event highlighted the synergy between Ferrari cars and other luxury brands. Riva brought its new “El-Iseo” boat to the lake at Casa Maria Luigia, adding nautical elegance to the event. The pure sound of Bang & Olufsen provided a musical setting, while Ferrari Trento wine, the official toast of Formula 1®, delighted the palates of attendees. RM Sotheby’s, Cavallino’s global partner, added to the depth of automotive knowledge shared at the event.

The 2024 edition crowned several standout Ferraris. The Best of Show Gran Turismo was awarded to the 1971 365 GTB4 with chassis #14405, while the Best of Show Competizione went to the 1954 Ferrari 250 Monza with chassis #0466. The Best of Show Ferrari Classiche Certified was awarded to the 1997 Ferrari F50 with chassis #107125, showcasing the enduring appeal and perfection of these classic machines.

The event also featured memorable experiences on the road. On May 18, a parade in Modena included a stop at the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari, now part of the MEF Museum. The following day, participants drove the test routes to Maranello and concluded with a luxurious lunch at Casa Canossa, curated by the Botturas.

The Cavallino Classic Modena 2024 was both an exhibition and a celebration of the storied history of Ferrari, exquisite craftsmanship, and the enduring passion that drives its legacy forward.
