THE PRECIOUS SEA SUMMIT ARRIVES IN TORRE DEL GRECO

This month, the first edition of the Precious Sea Summit will transform Torre del Greco into an international stage for the finest organic marine materials, coral, cameo, mother-of-pearl, shells, and pearls.

Scheduled for 21 May at Palazzo Vallelonga, the initiative, launched by Assocoral in partnership with Italian Exhibition Group and the Consorzio Corallo e Cammeo Torrese, offers a strategic platform where artisans, designers, institutions, and research centres will confront the sector’s most pressing challenges: traceability, marine resource protection, and the transmission of centuries-old craftsmanship to new generations.

“History, culture and the formation of an authentic territory, suspended between the sea and Vesuvius”, said Assocoral president Vincenzo Auccella. Global Exhibition Manager for the Jewellery & Fashion division of IEG, Matteo Farsura echoed the sentiment, noting that proximity to production districts amplifies their voice on global markets, a vision Vicenzaoro has long embodied and that this summit now extends to the Torre district.

With CIBJO president Gaetano Cavalieri celebrating how “territorial identity and global competitiveness can coexist and generate value”, the afternoon programme includes a round table moderated by Giovanni Micera of Preziosa Magazine, visits to the Francesco Degni Art School, and exclusive access to the Coral Museum.

Free admission upon registration. Seats are limited.
