SCULPTURAL AND OVERSIZED THE NEW DIMENSIONS OF PAOLA PARONETTO’S CARTOCCI PAPER CLAY OBJECTS

The CARTOCCI collection designed by Paola Paronetto gets its unique appearance from the special texture of paper and card, pulp and fibre added to the ceramic mixture. Their lightness is visually impacting; these articles look as fragile as if they were really made from paper. The CARTOCCI series arouses a desire in the observer to touch and manually explore these daring creations.

Simply white or in plain colors, decorated with pure gold applications or vivid color rectangles, composed of plain segments or with texturized surfaces, the CARTOCCI paper clay collection has many fascinating facets and continues to grow by new impacting pieces. At the 2013 edition Milan week of design, the Italian ceramist and artist launched new, oversized bottles and bowls.
