The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) has announced the appointment of Brandee Dallow as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective July 6, 2026. Dallow, a respected industry veteran with extensive experience across mining, manufacturing, certification, retail, and responsible sourcing, will work closely with the Board of Directors and membership to strengthen engagement and expand collaboration within the global colored gemstone community.
Founded in 1984, ICA is the only worldwide body specifically created to benefit the colored gemstone industry. The Association brings together nearly 700 industry leaders from mine to market, representing 47 countries, and has played a vital role in promoting trade, education, ethical business practices, and consumer confidence.
Dallow brings a unique combination of association leadership, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement to the role. Beyond her executive career, she has served as Past International President of both the Women’s Jewelry Association and its Foundation, and currently serves as President of Community for Ethical Jewelry. Her professional experience includes leadership positions with De Beers, Rio Tinto Diamonds, the Responsible Jewellery Council, and Grandview Klein Diamonds, where she most recently served as Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer.
“Brandee brings a thoughtful and collaborative leadership style, along with a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our sector”, said Damien Cody, President of ICA. “As ICA continues to evolve and serve a dynamic global industry, we are excited about the perspective, experience, and energy she will bring to our members and the Association”.
“What excites me most about this opportunity is the people”, said Dallow. “For more than 40 years, ICA has brought together passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated professionals from around the world. As new generations discover the extraordinary world of colored gemstones, ICA has an important role to play in helping our sector grow, evolve, and thrive.”
Dallow assumes leadership at a pivotal moment for the colored gemstone sector, with emerging opportunities for innovation, education, and engagement across the global industry.
