WHERE SOURCING MEETS STRATEGY: JGTD 2026 OPENS IN DUBAI

JGTD RETURNS FOR ITS FIFTH EDITION, PAIRED WITH DUBAI DIAMOND WEEK, WITH 400+ EXHIBITORS AND BUYERS FROM OVER 100 MARKETS

Dubai is about to become the jewellery industry’s meeting point once again. From 27 to 29 October 2026, Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) opens its doors at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, this year in North Halls N21 and N23. Organised by Informa Markets and Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the fair remains the Middle East’s only B2B exhibition dedicated exclusively to the international jewellery industry.

This edition brings together more than 400 exhibitors from around 25 countries and regions, welcoming buyers from over 100 markets. Country and regional pavilions from China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Türkiye anchor the floor, alongside expert-led seminars and educational sessions on the trends shaping the trade.

The exhibitor line-up spans the whole value chain. Finished jewellery manufacturers include AV Globale, Jawhara, KGK, Dharm Diam, Taka Jewellery and Unison Manufacturing. Gemstone suppliers include Hari Krishna, SRK, Precious Pebbles, Venus Jewel, Takat Gems SR, Poligem and HC Arnoldi. Technology names such as Bulunmaz Machinery, Faro, Smartpro, Sisma and Harshad Prime complete the picture.

Sourcing highlights include fancy yellow diamonds from Yondor Diamonds, Shivam Jewels and Paladiya Brothers, including a pear-shaped 25-carat fancy intense yellow. Rayne Roche brings gemstone-inlaid gold pieces, and RK Gems Co presents fancy-cut diamond tennis bracelets. Taka Jewellery shows diamond bangles and coloured gemstone rings, while Blue Gems Supplier and Emerald Mines Co Ltd offer loose coloured stones. On the technology side, Faro, Bulunmaz and Fresissima present CNC machinery, gold analysers and Italian-made carbide burs.

This year, JGTD runs alongside the second edition of Dubai Diamond Week (26–29 October), organised by DMCC with Informa Markets and IEG. The week opens on 26 October with the seventh Dubai Diamond Conference, themed “Diamond 2.0: A Strategic Reset – Reigniting Desire, Unlocking New Value”. It will explore how to strengthen long-term demand for natural diamond jewellery, harness emerging technologies and unlock new sources of value. On 27 October, bilateral meetings, company showcases and guided tours of Almas Tower and the Dubai Diamond Exchange turn strategy into business.

Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets, describes the pairing as addressing both immediate sourcing needs and the broader questions facing the industry. Marco Carniello, IEG’s Chief Business Officer, calls JGTD a strategic meeting point between global markets and the region’s growing commercial influence.

The timing is fitting and DMCC recently announced that Dubai’s diamond trade reached a record USD 41.7 billion in 2025. DMCC returns as Official Partner and Dubai Jewellery Group as Industry Partner, for the fifth consecutive year.

JGTD also arrives with strong momentum. The 2025 edition welcomed 5,667 trade buyers from 102 countries and regions, up 15% year on year. International visitors rose 55% to 3,332, or 59% of total attendance, the highest share since the fair’s launch.

For buyers, suppliers and industry watchers, JGTD 2026 is a chance to source, connect and see what’s next in fine jewellery, gemstones and technology. COLLECTION Magazine will be following the week closely.
