VICENZAORO SEPTEMBER 2026: ICON, INNOVATION, AND A RESHAPED SUPPLY CHAIN

Vicenza’s Expo Centre has a new heart! When VicenzaOro opens its doors from 4 to 8 September 2026, visitors will walk into a redesigned venue built around a landmark addition, Hall 2, four editions in the making, now uniting the entire jewellery supply chain under one roof. It’s the centrepiece of a September edition that brings the full breadth of the trade, from manufacturing to high jewellery, back to the Italian Exhibition Group’s home ground.

The show will once again bring together an international community of scale: 1,300 exhibiting brands from 38 countries, and buyers, retailers and industry professionals from over 130 nations. Running alongside VicenzaOro will be T.Gold, the reference exhibition for jewellery production technologies, and VO Vintage (4–7 September), the show’s dedicated B2C marketplace for vintage watch and jewellery collectors. This edition also marks a milestone occasion for the wider industry, as VicenzaOro hosts the CIBJO World Jewellery Confederation Congress, celebrating its centenary with over 400 delegates in attendance.

The headline development of this edition is the opening of the new Hall 2, the result of a construction project spanning four editions. The two-storey hall becomes the physical heart of VicenzaOro’s tour route, and, for the first time, allows the show to bring the entire jewellery supply chain together under one roof, reinforcing the platform’s distinctive Jewellery Boutique Show format, in which exhibitors are grouped into specialised communities based on product category and market positioning.

Hall 2 itself will house CREATION, the community dedicated to manufacturing and production, spanning white-label goods, semi-finished products, components and settings, with Made in Italy names such as Alessi and Chrysos alongside international manufacturers including Arpas (Turkey), Richline (USA) and a strong contingent from India, Hong Kong and Thailand. Its upper floor, EXPRESSION, will bring together the packaging, visual merchandising and retail display specialists that shape how jewellery is presented and sold.

Elsewhere across the Expo Centre, ESSENCE GEMS (Hall 3) gathers around 150 dealers in natural gemstones, diamonds, corals and pearls, alongside a dedicated floor for lab-grown stones; LOOK and TIME (Hall 1) covers easy-to-wear gold and silver jewellery and independent watch brands, including The Glamroom space for emerging designers; and T.Gold (Hall 4) rounds out the offering with machinery and technology for the sector, from additive manufacturing to sustainable production solutions.

For the high-end segment, Halls 6 and 7 host ICON, VicenzaOro’s community dedicated to high jewellery and its most prestigious names. This edition marks the return of Pasquale Bruni, joining a line-up that includes Damiani, Roberto Coin, Crivelli, Schreiner Fine Jewellery and FOPE, alongside Gorgoglione, Recarlo and Annamaria Cammilli, winner of the Best in ICON, High-End Jewellery award at the VO Awards. Made in Italy craftsmanship will also be represented by Busatti Milano, Leo Pizzo, Nanis, Palmiero, Picchiotti, Roberto De Meglio and Serafino Consoli, while the international roster grows with Carrera y Carrera, Tirisi and Autore, and new entries Effy Jewelry from the United States and Gellner and Bossert + Kast from Germany. Morellato Group, one of Europe’s leading players in contemporary jewellery and watchmaking, further strengthens the community’s standing.

Within ICON, The Design Room (Hall 7) remains dedicated to design-driven, one-of-a-kind jewellery, featuring Alessio Boschi, winner of the Best in ICON, One of a Kind Jewellery award, alongside Annelie Fröhling, Antonini Milano, Cedille Paris, Karen Suen, Lobortas Classic Jewellery House, Mattia Cielo, Misani, Mousson Atelier, Netali Nissim, New Italian Art, Vicky Shaw and a collective presentation from the Beijing School of Design.

“The value of VicenzaOro lies in its ability to connect business, content and the sector’s strategic vision”, said Matteo Farsura, IEG’s Global Exhibition Manager for Jewellery & Fashion, of the show’s role as an industry knowledge hub. “As of September, the offer will be even more complete thanks to T.Gold now being integrated within the Expo Centre and fully aligned with the VicenzaOro calendar”.

The educational programme opens on Saturday 5 September with the world-premiere presentation of The Jewellery Trendbook 2028+, led by TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting Co-Founder Paola De Luca. Over the following days, Confindustria Federorafi will host talks on the industry’s 2026 economic outlook and on digital marketing trends, Federpreziosi Confcommercio will run its Retail Talks on tourism and gemstone transparency, and the Istituto Gemmologico Italiano (IGI) will present its Gem Talks, exploring the rare Padparadscha sapphire. Production and innovation take centre stage on Monday 7 September with the Jewellery Technology Forum by Legor, held for the first time inside T.Gold’s new home in the Smart Hub, Hall 4. Running throughout, the CIBJO Congress will mark its centenary with four days of panel discussions on standardisation, sustainability and responsible sourcing, alongside updates to the CIBJO Blue Books.

VicenzaOro’s programme extends well beyond the exhibition halls. The event opens on Friday 4 September with the VicenzaOro Opening Event and the inauguration of the new Hall 2, followed that evening by an invitation-only Welcome Cocktail in Vicenza’s Piazza dei Signori. Each evening from Friday to Monday, exhibitors and visitors are invited to the VicenzaOro Happy Hour at the West Entrance’s Central Bar, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. The city itself joins the celebration through VIOFF, VicenzaOro’s off-show initiative held in partnership with the Municipality of Vicenza, which this year brings the “Golden Road” theme to the historic centre with art, food and entertainment events.

With its new Hall 2, an expanded high jewellery community, and a five-day programme spanning trends, technology and sustainability, VicenzaOro September 2026 sets out to reaffirm Vicenza’s role as a global meeting point for the jewellery trade.
